First Connection

Learn how to create your first database connection in Postview with this step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Open the Connection Dialog

To create a new connection, you have two options:

  • Click the "+" button in the top-left corner of the interface
  • Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + N (or Cmd + N on Mac)

This will open the connection creation dialog where you can configure your database connection.

Step 2: Select Your Database Engine

After opening the connection dialog, you'll see a screen with various database engine options. Choose the database type you want to connect to:
